When I was eight I was given my grandmothers old film camera and fell in love with the art of capturing the world around me. Growing up in Vermont I was surrounded by wilderness and developed a passion for nature and wildlife photography. I enjoy the challenge of trying to capture the essence of a place in my images.
With the advancement of software and computer technology, drastically adjusting images in post-processing has become easier than ever and is often abused. In all of my images I edit with the goal of making the image as realistic as possible. The one exception of this is images in which I am creating an art pieces such as mirroring cityscapes.
